Performance, Teaching and Accompaniment

Andy performs in the greater San Francisco Bay Area on saxophone, flute, piano and bass for events and private parties, and at wineries, restaurants, clubs, senior residential and assisted living facilities and other venues, both as a soloist and with a variety of jazz groups including C*JAM, Blonde Sided, Equinox, WestSide Jazz Club, and others.

Andy also teaches jazz instrumental and vocal classes for the Crossroads Music School in Mill Valley, and offers private instrumental and vocal lessons out of his home studio in Novato (Marin County).

Andy provides piano accompaniment for several of Marin's leading jazz vocalists, and regularly works with jazz vocalists on their repertoire, charts, and approach to jazz.

Andy performs on piano and bass at various Marin-based jazz vocalist open mics.

Andy lives in the town of Novato in Marin County, California.

LESSONS/PRIVATE SESSIONS

Andy offers private one-on-one lessons to adults interested in playing instrumental jazz on saxophone, flute, piano or bass.

Andy also offers private lessons and sessions to adult vocalists, providing piano accompaniment and encouragement to vocal students from beginning to advanced.

Andy also provides piano accompaniment for monthly jazz vocal workshops offered by renowned vocalist Deborah Winters.

CHART PREPARATION SERVICES
Andy works with a large variety of singers, and prepares easy-to-read, musician-friendly charts for their songs in their keys.

The charts are created by Andy with a computer program, play tested for accuracy by Andy, and delivered via email to the singer, typically within 24 hours of request.

Rate are very reasonable. References and sample charts happily furnished upon request.
